Most of today's rain won't happen until after 5 p.m.. Here's what you need to be aware of... ~ Sarah
Good morning!
WEATHER HEADLINES
• Before 5 p.m. -- Mainly just humid with some spotty rain
• After 5 p.m. -- Storms are likely, disruptive to outdoor plans
• Tomorrow -- Much cooler with low humidity
FORECAST DETAILS:
A cool front has stalled over the area and will eventually push through, bringing cooler, drier weather Sunday. First, though, the front will bring scattered storms to the San Antonio metro area -- mainly after 5 p.m. today.
The first part of the day today will be humid with only a few spotty showers. After 5 p.m. a cluster of storms will move through with a few stronger storms embedded within. The stronger storms will have the potential for heavy rain, gusty winds, and perhaps pockets of hail. We will be monitoring.
Majority of the rain will be over by midnight. When all is said and done, most will have at least half an inch of rain with the luckiest neighborhoods receiving more than an inch.
Behind the front, it'll be much cooler Sunday with low humidity and highs in the 60s. There will be a breezy wind from the north.
Monday will be very pleasant for the River Parade. We'll have low humidity and highs in the 70s.
If you're planning on being out and about today for Fiesta, we will be monitoring the storms for you. Make sure you have the KSAT Weather Authority App handy. Not only does it have a radar, but we'll send live updates right to your phone as necessary.
Viva Fiesta! ~ Sarah
