One or two more storms today and a look at when the heat cranks back up -- Justin
FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
** Showers and storms south of San Antonio move towards Corpus Christi this morning
** Some clearing this afternoon, with a significant warm-up
** Hotter weather arrives this weekend and next week
FORECAST:
Good morning! Yesterday was a bummer, with rain all around us... but not much for us. We do have a small chance at a shower or storm today, however, anything that develops will be isolated. The activity out there this morning is moving south of San Antonio. Showers and a few storms will continue to affect the coastal plains through midday.
Skies will clear some this afternoon and temperatures will climb quickly. Expect highs in the upper-80s. We'll watch for any storms that develop over the mountains of Mexico, as there is a slight chance these storms move in our direction this evening.
After today, rain chances cut off and temperatures will get fairly warm. Highs in the mid-90s are likely this weekend and early next week.
The next chance of rain arrives late next week. Have a great day!
