FORECAST:
Good morning! At the moment, skies are cloudy and just light drizzle and sprinkles are being reported. By midday, showers and a few storms are forecast to take shape across the area. It'll be scattered activity, but we'll need to watch severe weather. This is especially true during the afternoon hours. Hail would be the biggest threat with any severe storms. The greatest risk for severe weather will be along and north of I-10. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper-80s.
Things should quiet down tonight, however, a few more storms may pop up tomorrow. Friday's activity should be more isolated. A strong storm is still possible. Temperatures tomorrow will warm to near 90.
The weekend will feature sunny skies and hot temperatures. Upper-90s are in the forecast and humidity may push heat index values into the triple digits.
