Between a few storm chances to unseasonably warm temps, there's plenty to chat about this week! ~Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Patchy fog Monday morning, monitoring two windows for storms
• Unseasonably warm this week
• Additional storm chances by mid-to-late week
FORECAST DETAILS:
Hope all of you moms have had a wonderful Mother's Day! 💐
The humidity is back for evening plans with temperatures gradually falling through the low 80s and into the 70s after sunset. While a few sprinkles can't be ruled out, most stay dry with mostly cloudy skies in place.
Monday starts muggy with patchy fog and mist, then we monitor for a few windows where storms could develop. While not a guarantee, the first chance arrives in the 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. timeframe. A few storms could try to pop up west of I-35, then track eastward throughout the morning.
The second, more isolated chance arrives by late afternoon, mainly after 4 p.m. ahead of a weak front. Partly cloudy skies will have taken over by then, helping highs climb to near 90°. Not everyone will find storms tomorrow, but should they develop, a few could become strong or severe.
A slight break in humidity arrives Tuesday, but it will still be unseasonably hot with high temperatures in the low 90s under mostly sunny skies. As more moisture pumps in by late Wednesday and a low pressure system approaches, another chance for scattered storms (40%) is in the forecast Wednesday night and into Thursday.
We'll continue to keep you posted on these details in the days ahead! Until then -- have a great evening. ~ Mia
