Humid & windy for Flambeau, plus here's the latest on increasing storm chances Sunday morning ~ Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Humid and windy for Fiesta Flambeau
• Scattered rain & storms likely Sunday morning
• Humidity, isolated storm chances continue next week
FORECAST DETAILS:
Hope you're having a great Saturday!
It'll be humid and windy for evening plans, including for the Fiesta Flambeau parade. Gusts up to 30-35 mph are possible as temperatures fall into the 70s after sunset.
Focus then turns to increasing storm chances early Sunday morning. A broken line of rain and storms is expected to develop out west and will start to move into our northwestern counties (the Southern Edwards Plateau & Hill Country) after midnight. This line will continue to progress eastward through the early morning hours, before moving into & through the San Antonio mainly between the 6 am - noon timeframe. A few strong/severe storms can't be ruled out, with hail and strong winds being the main concerns.
A drier afternoon then takes over with high temperatures in the low 80s in San Antonio.
Looking ahead to next week, daily, isolated storm chances continue along with the humidity. We'll keep you posted on that in the days ahead!
Have a fun & safe evening and Viva Fiesta! ~ Mia
