THURSDAY'S POLLEN COUNT:
Molds, 490, Low
FORECAST DETAILS:
Good afternoon! More sunshine has taken over and is helping temperatures warm up quicky. Highs are headed for the mid-90s in San Antonio, but factor in the humidity and it will feel even hotter with heat indices nearing 100° at times! Be careful out in this heat, especially if you have to be outside for a while. In addition, smoke from agricultural burning in Mexico could still filter into parts of South Texas today, causing a dip in air quality.
Changes are on the horizon, however, as a cool front moves through tonight. An isolated storm or two can't be ruled out ahead of the front this evening. While coverage should be low, any storm that does develop could be strong/severe, capable of hail and strong winds.
Cooler and drier arrives into the weekend with highs back in the 80s by tomorrow. A few sprinkles can't be ruled out through Saturday, before a slightly better chance for showers or a storm on Mother's Day. We'll keep you posted on that in the days ahead!
Until then, have a great day and stay cool this afternoon! ~ Mia
