FORECAST HIGHLIGHTS:
** "Cooler" and drier today
** Stray storm, mainly west of I-35
** Wet weather expected for Mother's Day
Good morning! I know it's not cool outside, but the front that came through did make a difference. Humidity is down and temperatures this afternoon will run about 10 degrees cooler. The forecast is mostly dry today, with the exception of a stray storm or two along the Rio Grande. Should a storm develop, severe weather would be possible mainly west of I-35.
Saturday brings a slight uptick in cloud cover and small rain chances. Because of the clouds, it'll also be a bit cooler. Expect highs in the low-80s. Rain chances sit at 20% tomorrow.
Saturday night into Sunday morning, rain chances increase. Showers and a few storms are possible. While severe weather is not likely, a few of the storms could be strong. Any rain will end west to east late in the day. The rain chance is 40%.
Small storm chances continue into Monday, before a break on Tuesday. More active weather returns to the forecast on Wednesday.
Have a great day!
